High-pressure hoses are poorly manufactured

(1) The inner and outer layers of the high-pressure hose wall are oil-resistant rubber, and the middle is (2-4 layers) cross-braided steel wire or wound steel wire. Poor quality hose will appear: the thickness of the hose wall is uneven; the wire braid is too tight, too loose or the number of steel wire layers is too small; the deformation of the hose (elongation, shortening or bending deformation) after being pressurized is large; the outer layer of rubber Poor air tightness leads to corrosion of the steel wire; poor sealing of the inner layer of glue makes the high pressure oil easily enter the steel wire layer; insufficient adhesion between the glue layer and the steel wire layer. All of the above will reduce the bearing capacity of the hose, and eventually burst at the weak point of the pipe wall.

(2) Improper selection of the amount of crimping and crimping speed when assembling the hose and the joint, or unreasonable selection of the structure, material and size of the joint, can cause the hose and the joint to be pressed too tightly or too loosely, resulting in early damage to the joint.

During assembly, if the crimping amount is too small, that is, when the pressure between the joint and the hose is too loose, the hose may come out of the joint at the beginning of use under the action of oil pressure; If it is too tight, it is easy to cause local damage to the inner layer of the hose and cracks. , causing the outer layer of rubber to bulge or even rupture. When the hose and the joint are assembled, if the crimping speed is too fast, it is easy to cause damage to the inner rubber and rupture of the steel wire layer, which will cause the hose to be damaged prematurely in use.

(3) In addition, the unreasonable design of the joint and the poor processing quality will also cause damage to the inner rubber; if the material of the joint is not selected properly, it is easy to deform during the crimping process, thereby affecting the crimping quality and shortening the life of the hose.

Improper use of high pressure hose

Under the premise of guaranteed quality, if used improperly, it will greatly shorten the service life of the hose. In actual work, most of the damage to the high-pressure hose is caused by improper use.

(1) Subject to frequent and severe pressure shocks. The bursting of the high-pressure hose is generally not caused by too much static pressure, but is related to the severity and number of pressure shocks. When the construction machinery is in operation, the oil pressure will repeatedly increase or decrease suddenly, which will cause frequent pressure shocks to the oil pipe, resulting in aggravated damage to the oil seals of various parts, blistering and rupture of the rubber hose, and loose and seepage of the pipe joints. leakage phenomenon. Therefore, during operation, the valve stem should not be pulled too violently, but must be gentle.

(2) The operating temperature of the oil is too high. During the operation of construction machinery, the hydraulic system heats up the oil due to power loss, and the influence of the outside temperature (especially in summer) can cause the oil temperature to rise sharply. The higher the operating temperature of the oil, the easier the rubber is to age, the worse the elasticity, the lower the strength and the sealing performance, and the faster the hose will burst. Therefore, in the operation, when the hydraulic system temperature rises too high or too fast, the cause should be identified and eliminated in time; necessary cooling measures should be taken in summer operation, especially in continuous operation.

(3) The selection and installation of the hose are unreasonable. When replacing the high-pressure hose, the length of the hose, the number of steel wire layers, the shape and size of the joint should be reasonable, and the bending degree of the hose should be minimized; when tightening the joint nut, do not twist the hose, excessive bending and Twisting will greatly reduce the service life of the hose; protective measures should be taken for some parts that are prone to friction to prevent the hose from bursting due to wear.
